Bruno Dunley was born in 1984, in Petrópolis – RJ., Lives and works in São Paulo since 2001. He started his production in 2005. He is a painter, teacher and founding partner of Joules & Joules. His works are part of important collections, such as: Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo – SP, MAM – SP, MAC – SP, Itaú Cultural – SP, among others. In 2017, his monographic book, “Bruno Dunley” received two nominations for the Jabuti Award – Best Graphic Project and Best Print (first prize). He participated in the 33rd Bienal of São Paulo in 2018, in addition to exhibitions at institutions such as Instituto Tomie Ohtake – SP, Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil – SP, Rio de Janeiro and Distrito Federal, MAC – USP, among others.
Joules & Joules is a Brazilian artisanal oil paint brand founded in August 2020 by artists Bruno Dunley and Rafael Carneiro in the city of Sāo Paulo. Based on its commitment to strengthening culture and art in the country, J&J develops content and courses on painting, colors and pictorial materials with the aim of communicating its research and contributing to the development of Brazilian painting.
