itk_Exclusive Guided tour to Pina Contemporânea with Julia Lima
Come discover with us the new Pina Contemporânea! Join us for a guided tour by Julia Lima of the exhibition “Quase Colloquial”, the first exhibition of South Korean artist Haegue Yang (1971) in Latin America, curated by Jochen Volz, general director of Pinacoteca de São Paulo. She combines and references various elements, especially industrial objects with everyday items such as clotheslines, bells, shutters, lights, collages, and texts. The Pina Contemporânea also has on view an exhibition of its contemporary collection, imponently shown in “Chão da Praça”. Curated by Ana Maria Maia, the show occupies the museum’s largest gallery, with around 60 works that deal with territories, encounters, and crossing narratives.
