In this new course we will explore the artistic, literary and design movements that shaped Russia’s culture between 1900 and 1930. The period is marked by World War I and the Russian Revolution, events that had a profound impact on the visual production of those decades. We will explore Suprematism, Constructivism, Vkhutemas and the arrival of Socialist Realism.
